Dr. Tim Speciale

About Dr. Tim Speciale – Platlet Rich Plasma Prolotherapy Doctor

My medical degree is D.O., Doctor of Osteopathy. D.O.’s receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system – your body’s interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones which make up two- thirds of body mass. This training provides Osteopathic Physicians with a better understanding of the ways that an injury or illness in one part of your body can affect another. It gives D.O.’s a therapeutic and diagnostic advantage over those who do not receive additional specialized training.

Before attending medical school, I was a practicing, licensed Physical Therapist.

I was also a Board-Certified Family Physician who practiced Family Medicine for six years prior to specializing in Orthopaedic Medicine. I have passed written and oral examinations and hold a Certificate of Competence in Sports Medicine. I am Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Integrative Pain Management and the American Certification in Orthopaedic Musculoskelatal Medicine and the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. This means I have passed oral, written and practical examinations in my subspecialty.

I am a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Medicine, the American Academy of Osteopathy            and the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Integrative Pain Management. I attend conferences frequently to keep up to date with new methods and procedures. I continue to study with some of the leading experts in the world in various disciplines to sharpen my skills.

Dr. Speciale continues to upgrade his skills. This picture shows Dr. Speciale with two of his professors, Dr.Thomas Ravin and Dr. Mark Cantieri, at a conference in Biddeford, Maine, at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

I hurt my back at the gym today. It feels permanent. Do the Germans offer platelet-rich plasma therapy for lower backs? Hit me up Kobe.
